JustSlaps Privacy Policy

Updated 29 September 2026

The short version

  • Your photos, videos and stickers stay on your phone. We never receive them.
  • To unlock and restore your purchase, a payment service keeps a purchase record under a random id. It does not have your name or email.
  • On Android, Google's cutout tool sends Google basic performance reports.
  • No ads. No account. No tracking. We do not sell or share your personal information.

1. Who we are

This policy covers the JustSlaps app for Android and iPhone, and these web pages. JustSlaps is made by Dire Syzygy LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Contact: [email protected].

2. What stays on your phone

Photos and videos you pick, the stickers and packs you make, your emoji tags, captions and settings, backup files, and the Diagnostics screen. We never receive any of these.

The cutout runs on your phone. On Android it uses Google ML Kit subject segmentation, through Google Play services. On iPhone it uses Apple's Vision framework. JustSlaps asks for your photos only when you pick one.

When you save a backup or pick a sync folder, JustSlaps writes files where you choose. If that place is a cloud drive, that service's own policy covers those files.

3. When you send a sticker

When you add a pack to WhatsApp or Telegram, use the keyboard, or use the share menu, you send the sticker to that app. From then on, that app's privacy policy applies. We do not see what you send.

4. What leaves your phone

Your purchase record. We use RevenueCat, Inc. as a service provider to check and remember purchases. When you open the app, buy, or restore, the app sends RevenueCat a random customer id that the app made, and the purchase details from Google Play or the App Store (which product, when, the price and currency, and the store's transaction id). Like every internet request, it also carries technical details such as your IP address, the app version and the device type. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email or payment card. We use this only to unlock JustSlaps and restore it.

Your random customer id, in your own backup. So a new phone can restore your purchase, the app keeps the random id in your phone's own backup: Google Block Store on Android (end-to-end encrypted when your phone supports it), and iCloud Keychain on iPhone. It is only that id.

Android only: Google ML Kit reports. Google Play services downloads the cutout model to your phone. ML Kit also sends Google information about how the tool runs: device model, Android version, app name and version, time taken, error codes, and an id for this install. Google uses it for diagnostics and to improve ML Kit. See Google's ML Kit data disclosure. Your photos are not sent.

If you write to us. We get your email address and what you send. We use it only to answer you, and we keep it no longer than two years.

5. What we do not do

6. How long we keep it

The purchase record stays while you may still need to restore your purchase, and as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Write to [email protected] with your support id, or see Delete your data. We answer within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If you live in the EU, the UK or a similar place: we use the purchase record to give you what you paid for (a contract), and the ML Kit reports for Google's and our legitimate interest in a working cutout tool. You may complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children

JustSlaps is not made for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child's data reached us, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Security and where data is kept

Everything the app sends goes over encrypted connections (HTTPS). RevenueCat and Google may keep data in the United States and other countries.

10. Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change is big, we also say so in the app's update notes.
